Where Do You Place Your Values?

Article Presented by:

Have you ever noticed when you go shopping with someone, whether it is a family member or a friend, you are each drawn to the things where you place your highest values? For example, just a couple of weeks ago I needed to make a purchase pertinent to my online business so I had my mum with me and I took her into the electronics store to make my purchase. Now my mum has no idea about computers or electronic gadgets so was totally bored and there was nothing of interest to her in that particular store. Now, you may be wondering where I am headed with this story. Well if you think about it, the things you value most in your life are easy to do. Whereas the things that are not highest in your values are always last on your list of things to do.

So it is with this online business. You work at it tirelessly as you are determined to make it work. Every spare minute you have is spent on article writing, publishing articles, tweaking that website, writing your blog, doing your due diligence, setting up that autoresponder and everything else that's needed to get your business automated and running like clockwork. It needs to be just right before you get going.......right? Wrong. Just get going and it will fall into place.

Getting started in this business is not about having it all set up perfectly. When you are just starting out and have limited knowledge and time, the idea is just to get going so you can start to generate some interest and traffic to your site or blog. It is great to have everything set up, but it does take time. The time that is needed to allocate everything that is on your list of values. Getting the business up and running is important but if you have other commitments that are equally important they also need to be addressed.

Working online is fun and if you are reading this article you will know what I mean. Start with a blog that is easy and free to set up. I used wordpress.com for mine. Just start writing about what inspires you and what you think your readers will want to know about you. You will be surprised at how easy it is once you get going. Set up links in that blog to direct your readers to where they can find your business and that is the simplest way to generate interest.
